Helping You Navigate Financial Decisions with Confidence
From Environmental Stewardship to Financial Services
Katherine’s (Katie) professional journey is marked by a passion for growth, both in nature and in people’s lives. Before joining Financial Services of America in 2015, Katie built and led a successful garden design business for over 25 years, specializing in native plants and organic gardening. Her environmental commitment earned her recognition as a Michigan Certified Natural Shoreline Professional and Instructor, along with Volunteer of the Year honors from Clean Water Action.
Today, Katie applies her dedication and expertise to the financial services field. She holds a Series 65 securities license and is a licensed Accident, Health, and Life Insurance agent in the State of Michigan. In her role at FSA, Katie blends technical knowledge with genuine care, helping clients explore financial planning strategies tailored to their needs.
A Thoughtful Approach to Client Relationships
Katie is dedicated to helping individuals explore strategies that align their financial decisions with personal goals and values. She takes the time to understand each client’s unique circumstances, offering education and guidance while recognizing that financial planning involves risks and must adapt to life’s inevitable changes.
Building Connections Through Care and Clarity
Known for her approachable and compassionate nature, Katie fosters open and meaningful conversations with clients. Her focus on transparency, personalized support, and ongoing education helps create a foundation of trust and confidence in every client relationship.
Interests Beyond the Office
When she’s not connecting with clients, Katie can often be found enjoying the outdoors with her twins or planning her next global adventure. She continues to embrace her love for nature, travel, and exploration — always seeking new experiences and perspectives that enrich both her personal and professional life.
A Note from Katie:
“Financial planning is deeply personal. My goal is to guide clients with care, clarity, and flexibility — ensuring their strategies grow and evolve just as life does.”
