Guiding Generations Toward Financial Confidence

A Legacy of Leadership and Experience

Scott Carlson joined Financial Services of America in 1992 and has remained a key member of the team for over three decades. Throughout his career, Scott has demonstrated leadership in the financial services industry by combining extensive experience with a strong dedication to helping clients navigate important financial decisions. He holds Series 66 securities license, as well as Life and Health Insurance licenses, enabling him to offer a broad range of financial planning services tailored to each client’s situation.

Scott focuses on legacy planning and works with families to explore strategies for preserving and transferring wealth. These strategies may involve investment vehicles such as mutual funds, ETFs, stocks, bonds, options, and annuities. As an Investment Adviser Representative with FSA Advisors, Scott utilizes a variety of tools to support his clients’ planning efforts. He also holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™, CRPC™ designation from the College for Financial Planning. While his guidance is designed to support client goals, all financial strategies carry risks—including market volatility, potential loss of principal, and changing tax or estate laws—that may affect outcomes.

A Long-Standing Record of Service

Scott has consistently delivered personalized financial planning services throughout his career. For 18 consecutive years, he has been recognized internally at Financial Services of America for his contributions and client engagement. His approach emphasizes education, clarity, and actionable planning strategies to help clients better understand their financial options.

Why Clients Trust Scott

Scott takes pride in helping clients better understand financial concepts and in working collaboratively to develop strategies that reflect their individual goals. He also focuses on educating families across generations to support long-term planning conversations around building and transferring wealth. While his approach is personalized and forward-thinking, he recognizes that all financial strategies carry risks and may be impacted by changes in markets, regulations, or personal situations.

Outside of Work

When Scott isn’t working, he enjoys spending time with his family and exploring ways to live life to the fullest. His passion for helping others isn’t just a career—it’s a way of life.

A Note from Scott:

“My goal is to help provide clarity and confidence for every family I work with. Financial planning isn’t just about the numbers; it’s about creating a legacy that lasts for generations.”
