John is a Senior Vice President with over 6 years of experience as an educator prior to joining Financial Services of America (FSA) in 2004. He graduated from Butler University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Science and Education. John is a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™, CRPC™ professional through the College for Financial Planning. He also holds a State of Michigan Life, Health and Property and Casualty insurance licenses, as well as Series 6, 7, 24, 63 and 65 securities licenses. John is a Registered Representative through AE Financial Services, LLC and an Investment Adviser Representative through FSA Advisors.

John has been honored by Fidelity & Guaranty Life as a Power Producer more than four times and by Allianz Life as a Diamond Producer two times. He has received other yearly acknowledgments from Allianz, Aviva, and North American Life in years past. He has been Agent of the Month at FSA multiple times. John is a member of the Mastermind group at FSA and one of the inaugural members of FSA’s Producer Group. John currently splits his time between FSA’s Warren and Grand Rapids locations.

With over 13 years of experience working and consulting with retirees as a financial advisor, John’s main passion is to help his clients identify and understand their needs and work with them to help achieve their goals for a happy and fulfilling life.

John is happily married to his best friend and a proud father of three great kids. Outside of work he enjoys boating, classic cars, and following his kid’s musical and sports activities.
