Mark joined the Financial Services of America family in 1993 after attending Michigan State University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He is licensed in the State of Michigan as a life, annuity, health, and property & casualty insurance agent. He has also completed the AHIP certification to assist his clients with their Medicare needs. Mark has earned the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ designation from the College for Financial Planning which incorporates pre-and post-retirement needs, asset management, legacy planning, and the entire retirement planning process using models and techniques from real client situations.
Throughout his career, Mark has believed that knowledge is a powerful tool that is necessary to offer the ideal service for his financial planning clients. Providing the best insurance, investment, legacy, and tax efficiency strategies is only possible using a team approach in holistic planning.
When not assisting his clients, Mark enjoys spending time with his 2 college-age children, Hunter and Cassidy. He is an avid reader and chess player. In addition, he maintains a healthy lifestyle that includes hiking, biking, time at the gym, and anything else that keeps him active.
