Teaching the path to confident retirement.

From the Classroom to Comprehensive Financial Planning

A graduate of Eastern Michigan University, Jay began his career as a history teacher before transitioning into financial services. His foundation in education shaped one of his greatest strengths—the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, relatable way that empowers others to make informed decisions.

A Holistic Approach to Retirement Planning

Jay believes retirement planning should be comprehensive and personalized. He focuses on understanding each client’s unique goals, concerns, and financial picture before developing strategies designed to align with their long-term objectives. By taking a thoughtful and educational approach, Jay helps clients feel informed and confident as they navigate important financial decisions. He is currently studying for his Series 65 license, continuing his commitment to professional growth and expanding his ability to serve clients.

Why Clients Value Jay

Jay’s patience and genuine care are at the core of his work. The same attentiveness and dedication he brought to his students in the classroom now guide his relationships with clients. He is committed to being a steady, supportive resource—someone clients can rely on for clarity, perspective, and thoughtful guidance throughout their financial journey.

Life Beyond the Office

When he’s not working with clients, Jay enjoys spending time with his wife, Aubrey, and their two children. Whether he’s golfing, playing goalie in a hockey league, or taking weekend camping trips with the family’s pop-up camper, Jay values staying active and making meaningful memories with those closest to him.

A Note from Jay:

“My goal is to make retirement planning feel approachable and understandable. I want clients to feel heard, supported, and confident in the decisions they’re making for their future.”
